Kwanzaa Kinara Reimagined
In the spirit of Kuumba (creativity), we offer our vision of the modern traditional Kinara for a new generation. Since 1966, when Kwanzaa was first celebrated, the Kinara has been relatively unchanged. Unlike any other traditional Kinara, this Kinara consists of seven individual candle holders, representing the Seven Principles of Kwanzaa. This design give the freedom of opportunity, to display or use your Kinara how you desire.
The modern Kwanzaa Kinara is more than just a decorative piece – it is an integral part of the Kwanzaa experience. It encourages reflection, self-awareness, and a reconnection with African roots. It also serves as a beautiful conversation starter, allowing families and friends to delve deeper into the values and principles that lie at the heart of Kwanzaa.
We are taught that the principals of Kwanzaa should be reflected throughout the year. And, so shall your Kinara. This is a set of seven candle holders displaying each of the even principals of Kwanzaa.
